Guitar workshop

Artisan-made guitars thriving in Andalusia despite industrial competition from factories making the instrument. The workshop being exhibited was donated by Francisco Barba Martínez, one of the most renowned guitar makers in Seville.

The classical and flamenco guitars made in these types of workshops continue to have a quality of sound which mass-produced ones have not been able to improve on. Because of this, a large number of artisan producers still work in Andalusia, chiefly supplying professionals and students.
