Patua painting on paper, made of seven panels, depicting the religious violence of October 2003 in Gujarat, a state in Western India next to the border with Pakistan.

An excerpt from the singing narrative of this painting reads: "All of us are Indians, Hindus and Muslims. [...] There was a riot in Gujarat, and so many have lost their lives! Were they beasts that didn't spare mothers and sisters who were unable to recognize the bodies? Oh Khoda, oh God, we are all Indians, Hindus and Muslims!"
