A variety of objects of everyday use like indi (pot ring), pankha (fan), clothes and mattresses formed the trousseau of a bride, which were filled in the sandook. When she moved into her new home, the sandook was used to store the couple’s belongings. This peti originally belonged to the owner’s late mother.
