H.E. Mr. Francisco Javier Girón y Ezpeleta

Photograph of His Excellency Field Marshal Francisco Javier Girón y Ezpeleta, 2nd Duke of Ahumada and 5th Marquis of Amarillas. He was appointed Inspector General to organize the Civil Guard on April 15, 1844—a post he held until August 2, 1854. He took up the position for a second time from October 12, 1856 until July 2, 1858.
