The word “Haejwa” in Haejwajeondo is another name for Korea, like “Haedong.” This one-chapter atlas was produced using the woodblock printing method and contains the geography of the whole country, and thus identical copies of this map are held in several locations. Roads are marked with single-black lines and streams with double-black lines, and mountains are drawn in overlapping form.
