Hair-band belonging to the "castreño" culture of the northwest of the Peninsula (northern Galicia and Asturias) which has been identified as a decoration for the head, or less probably, for the waist.
It is made with several rectangular gold plates, decorated with geometrical motifs - interwoven, dots, six-leaf roses engraved in dotted circles and triangles -, embossed and repoussé, framed by longitudinal strips, individually embossed. On each end there are filigree threads to fasten or hold it.
