Hand Mill Support

This is a hand mill support placed under a millstone, and designed to gather ground powder that falls down from the millstone. Placed under a millstone, this tray plays the same role as the tray used for sieves. The protruding parts on which the millstone is placed are arranged in balanced intervals, supporting the millstone and receiving ground materials. Wooden millstone trays are often used for water-soaked ingredients and grains containing liquid, while straw mats may be used to gather ground powder.
