A silver Hanukah lamp, made in Hannover-Neustadt, Germany, in the late seventeenth century. The shaped backplate is repoussé and chased with figures of Judith slaying Holofernes, with candelabrum below, flanked by Moses and Aaron. The eight shell burners arranged in semicircle with pierced foliage; cresting with coronet and stag behind. Beadle lamp springing from left hand of Aaron. Mounted at later date with silvered metal back and drip-tray decorated with plated border of palmettes and bosses. Its backplate shows Judith slaying Holofernes flanked by Moses and Aaron.
