Hanukah lamp, Poland, 19th century

Elaborate architectural composition representing Ark in arcading with railings and gates at front. Burners formed as lions. The whole overlaid with pierced decoration of birds, animals and foliage. Above curtains, a gilt composition of lions upholding a crown, above a pair of hands giving blessing (badge of priestly family?). Gryphons holding side lights. Clock at top flanked by gryphons and marked 'Denland, à Paris'. Crown and eagle finial.
