The Harbor Porpoise is the smallest among the toothed whales; it averages 1.6 meters in length and weighs 90 kilograms. At the same time, it is the most common species of whale on the German coasts and the only native whale in the Baltic Sea. It feeds on fish, squid and crustaceans.
