Wooden Hawaiian canoe paddle with long shaft, oval blade, and silver plaque inscribed: "Hookupu / Presidena Franklin D. Roosevelt / He / Mea / , Hoomanao / No / Kou / Makaikai / Ana / Ia / Hawaii / Nei / Iulae 24-28 1934 / Mai / Ka / Hui O Kamehameha." A gift to FDR during his July 1934 trip to Hawaii from the Order of Kamehameha. FDR Library Museum Collection, MO 1947.93.343.
