A circular leather head band decorated with white cowrie and blue, green and red coloured beads with a chain hanging loosely towards the edge. The beads, wire and chain were bought from a shop and the leather band cut from a cow hide. The band is worn round the head by girls being initiated during the ceremony and throughout the seclusion period.
