François Ravaillac killed the French king Henry IV in 1610. From Gérard's painting with the "Entry of Henry IV in Paris", Paolo Toschi drew one of his most famous engravings, finished in 1826 (see the state test inv. 953 and the press with study of characters inv. 1079).
