After having reached out to the stars with 'Supernova' (2009), it seems Marco Goecke is observing our terrestrial world from space in this creation. Some phrases Goecke told the dancers during rehearsals sounded like excerpts from out there: “The world is a trial. Try to run away with your arms. Like turning a page. Live and die. Only we are here. Hold the hand as if you feel the pulse. You are an alien. The answer is not in words. Columbia, back on earth! Maybe the heart breaks when the first couple comes. There is no second cast for your life. A sad Persian rug. In all that cuteness, there may also be anger? The end is important. As big and free as you can. It's all just one second in space.”
