Bronze helmet: Roman Montefortino C type. It has a hemispheric shape with a small front support, a back crescent neck protector and a truncated cone end, possibly for inserting an emblem (such as a feather plume or horse hair). The side plates are held on with rivets as the join for the cheek plates, which are now lost. The helmet would have been attached to the head using leather straps.
