It belonged to Herman Dohan, from Bosnia, Yugoslavia, great grandfather of the donor Marcelo Tarasantchi. Herman and his wife spent the war in Italy and then moved to Switzerland. With the end of the war they returned to Sarajevo, then went to Palestine and then came to Brazil. Burgundy velvet bag to store the Tallit with floral motifs and a monogram with the letters "H" and "D" for Herman Dohan on one side and the Star of David and "5664" on the other side. Clasp composed of eight rings and a burgundy braided cord.
