Hill Cart Road

The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway railway track was laid alongside the Hill Cart road or National Highway 55. It winds through tea gardens, forests and pines with the view of the mountains above and the hills below, leaving the traveller spellbound as she alights from the heritage railway at the final destination of Darjeeling.
