Two main gates of the Spice Bazaar, located at the two ends of the building are heightened in order to have a more striking architectural effect. The upper floors were used as Trade Courts in the past. It is known that there were judges located on these floors, one for discrepancies between shop owners and one for those between the public and the shop owners. This fact makes the Bazaar a place of interest not only for Gastronomy researchers, but for historians and architecture researchers as well.
