The Tsuruta family had been employed by the Tachibana family as a boatman through generations. In this historical record shown, on his way to back to Yanagawa from Osaka after losing the Battle of Sekigahara, the Lord Tachibana Muneshige ordered two boatmen to rescue his mother from Osaka-jo Castle.
