Hoard of Crévic

As well as broken and unusable objects, this hoard includes a bronzesmith’s implements such as a casting core for spearheads. The composition of the hoard includes some ‘unfashionable’ items, which had gone out of fashion long before the hoard was buried in the 10th Century B.C.E., such as arm protection spirals. All this suggests that a metalworker deposited raw material and tools here.
