In many of his admissions, Hendra did not like swine. "I enjoy looking at fish in the rivers and in the seas. I enjoy watching the multi-colored lizards, the dragonflies and the beautiful way they fly. "Once, when he was viewing many of Affandi's paintings depicting Balinese swine, he saw that in these paintings the pigs were pictured as being unique and artistic, even though the pigs were later slaughtered to be eaten. Hendra wanted to understand where these pigs were coming from when he lived in Bali in the 1980s. This made him follow the pigs' journey, from the pig pens to the marketplaces. (Agus Dermawan T.)
