Gold pendants in the shape of a pair of horns or a crescent moon appear in Canaan during the Late Bronze Age and became popular throughout the ancient world. The Horn Pendant Necklace contains carnelian, red jasper, and gold beads, which are offset by lotus seed vessel and gold tubular beads. This necklace duplicates jewelry elements found in a Late Bronze Age jar from Beth-Shemesh, Israel.
