This bottle has an externally thickened
rim, short cylindrical neck and flat base.
The single fluted handle joins the rim
to the body. The body is mould-made in
the form of a horse's head. The mane is
indicated by parallel grooves. The horse
has small eyes, wide nostrils and a partly
open mouth. The bottle is covered with
red slip that has dark patches caused
during firing.
