The first Royal Adelaide Show at Wayville. 1925. Caption beneath photo in "Royal Show" (Kerr) p.81 says: "With the first Wayville Show a success, there was great activity in structural work the following year. The Society spent 23,550 pounds on a new public grandstand, extensions to the Hall of Industry and Motor Pavilion, a wine kiosk and bandstand, and lawns, gardens and trees. It noted with pleasure that business houses were continuing to erect permanent structures on the grounds." (G Brooks)
