Hyacinths from NV L.Stassen Bulb Catalogue

Hyacinth bulbs in the Autumn 1952 catalogue from NV L.Stassen of Hillegom, Holland, and Spalding in Lincolnshire. The catalogue belonged to Mrs Doreen Whitaker who lived in Little Gaddesden, Hertfordshire, where she transformed a field into a garden. Out-of-date catalogues were passed on to her daughter Diana, who would cut out flowers for her scrapbook - although this catalogue survived the scissors.
