The Kothi locality is visible on the map. The place is famous for the Nizam Palace. The road heading towards the mansion of William Rumbold, to the north of it, lies St.George Church, Cemetery, Grammer School, and Gymnasium are visible. William Rumbold was the partner of the famous firm Palmer & Company, who died in 1833, afterward the building used as the Nizam College. The St.George Church was built by Sir George Yule, a British Resident in 1865 and completed the construction in 1867. There was no other church in the locality then, hence the church could accommodate 500 people. The Cemetery adjoining to the Church was an old one, contains graves of many old residents including William Palmer, the founder of firm Palmer & Company. The Grammer School was the only European School in the Nizam State date back to 1834. In 1860, the School divided and made separate for Boy and Girls and it was in 1875, the named as St.George's Grammer School. To the left side of the Rumbold Kothi road, lies the mansions of Rai Bal Mukund, Abdul Jabbar Jamadar, Bashir Nawaz Jang, and Kothi Mahdi Ali Khan are visible on the map. Rai Bal Mukund, one of the eminent personality of the Nizam State. He started his career as the Nazir of the High Court in Nizam State, later rose to the various positions steadily such as District Judge, Registrar of the High Court, Judge of the City Civil Court, Chief City Magistrate, etc. Also, he has included himself in public and charity programmes.
