I gelosi are renowned Italian Commedia dell’Arte-performers from the 16th century. The choreographer made an attempt to re-experience some of the spirit and humor of the I gelosi. In a few scenes he gave an impression of the mimic and acrobatic sophistication that characterizes this genre.
