The scroll reads: "The island of Tile, today called Iceland that is glacial land, was very celebrated by the ancients who thought it was the last part inhabited of the artic pole. The land is very mountainous and the flat lands offer wonderful pastures so they have all sorts of livestock. The panels show all the world as known at the time.
