The diverse rocks found in the mountains of the area were an invaluable source of local raw materials.

Thanks to the technique of polishing, they were able to make more resistant blades in a wider range of rocks, with which they made axes, adzes or chisels for cultura or woodwork, ornaments and symbolic objects such as idols.
