Glória Church and Beach

In the foreground, calm sea, blue-green, with several sailing boats and small boats. On the right, the beach and two groups of fishermen holding ends of a large net arranged in a horseshoe in the water, with several fish inside (trawling). In the background, a set of single-story houses with two floors, mountains and trees. In the center, elevation covered with vegetation by the sea, with the top, on the basis of inclined ramps, white church, with a single tower centered on a portico and surmounted by bulbiform termination, finished off by a weathervane in the shape of a cock. Clear skies, pinkish and blue-green tones. Oval frame, in plastered and gilded wood, surrounded by an embossed laurel log. On the back of the chassis, a stamp with the inscription: "FÁBRICA DE MOLDURAS / -DA- / GALERIA JORGE / 131, RUA DO ROSÁRIO".
The painting's authorship is attributed to Leandro Joaquim.
