Ike. Bark cloth beater. Used for pounding and producing sheets of masi (bark cloth). Carved from solid kau (wood). Square in cross section. Long and tapered handle with prominent reduction from sides to top of handle. All four sides are grooved, approximately 2mm-3mm spaced apart. Brown in colour.
