Ikinariya: Black Fence

It is said that Ikinariya started as a tea house surrounded by pine trees in about the year 1700, in the middle of the Edo Period. Later, it transitioned into a Japanese restaurant and in 2000, this gate was one of the ten items at this site to be registered as national tangible cultural properties.
