Ikinariya: Main Entrance

It is said that Ikinariya started as a tea house surrounded by pine trees in 1700, in the middle of the Edo Period. Later, it transitioned into a Japanese restaurant which now has architectural features that were included so that customers from different parties do not encounter one another. This image shows one of three entrances to the main building and the dining rooms are situated as to not to be adjacent.
