An illustrated composition of the features that can be seen on the facade of Kanti Mahal in the predominately residential neighbourhood of Matunga in South Mumbai.
Apart from numerous Deco elements, the entrances of Kanti Mahal are consecrated with spiritual symbols. A set of auspicious swastika symbols adorn the wrought iron gate. The entrance canopy of the building has a lotus, associated with Lakshmi and Vishnu (Hindu gods), below the lettering.
