Los Angeles, United States

Modern imitation of a statuette of a nude crouching Aphrodite, likely modeled after the statue type attributed to Diodalsas of Bithynia. Her hair is parted in the middle and tied in a bun at the nape of her neck. The head was once detached and has been reattached. There are some traces of polychromy, yellow on the top of the head and some pink and white on her face and arms.
