In the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, a crawler-transporter slowly rolls space shuttle Atlantis out of High Bay 1. First motion out of the bay was at 6:38 a.m. EDT Oct. 14. The 3.4-mile trip, known as rollout, is expected to take about six hours.
