A Sioux pipe ornamented with feathers, strings of purple and white wampum shells, and colorful quills. Collected from the Missouri River and formerly part of the U.S. Department of War collections. A note in the ledger reports "exchanged with Australian Minister." The pipe stem is 42" long.
