  • Description: This vellum page presents the well-preserved illuminated initial G. The letter is inserted in a golden frame, with a floral frieze in the lower left corner of the border. The color choices help to emphasize the representation of All the Saints, a group of figures standing—those in the back visible behind those in the front—around St. Peter, who is flanked by St. Benedict. The text is in round Gothic script and surrounded by tetragrams and square musical notes. The illuminated initial illustrates the introit for the Mass of the feast of All Saints on November 1st and probably comes from the Graduale Temporale marked P, preserved in the Museo Civico di Pescia.
