The vessel is complete, including its lid. A: Statue of Athena Promachos striding to right, holding her upraised shield on her left arm and a spear in her right. She is flanked by columns, atop which stand figures of Nike. Her helmet has a high crest, which overlaps the tongue pattern on the neck. B: panel depicts four nude male runners moving to right. The surface is abraded, more on side A than on side B.
