    [Mr. Rathenau] Postal communication with the residents of Theresienstadt is permitted on the following terms: 1. At the most, 3 times per month, a postcard may be written in the German language, in legible writing, preferably typewritten, or in block capitals. 2. The postcard must bear the exact address of the recipient in Theresienstadt, as detailed on his correspondence, and be placed, without a stamp, in an envelope, which is to bear the address “Reich Association of the Jews in Germany,” Berlin-Charlottenburg 2, Kantstraße 158, file reference number “VII Pr.,” and to be sent by mail. Mail is then forwarded courtesy of the Reich Association. 3. In addition, the dispatch of one charitable gift per month is permitted, the size of a field post package and not exceeding 1 kg in weight. It is to bear the address of the recipient and to be sent directly by mail. 4. Postcards and packets may be mailed only after the resident of Theresienstadt has personally disclosed his address. Address inquiries at government offices are not permitted.
