Insulet Omnipod Diabetes Management

The Omnipod is the first wearable insulin pump system worn directly on the body like a patch. The device pumps insulin directly into the body via a tubing set connected to a cannula painlessly inserted into the skin, and communicates wirelessly with a handheld Personal Diabetes Manager monitoring the process. The small patch-like device is replaced every third day and can be worn discretely underneath clothing and during showering, swimming etc.
