Interior of St. Nicholas's chapel

Entered through a porch at the north-west corner, the chapel has a richly decorated interior which is a great contrast to the rather plain, medieval-style exterior. This interior was not intended in the original design but results from the decision after the First World War to make the chapel into the Isle of Wight's war memorial.
