The door leading from the esonarthex to the katholikon is the most ancient of the surviving doors of the church. Its door leafs are adorned with Byzantine nails and lavishly decorated. They are divided in strict square panels, following the Byzantine tradition. Around the door there is a marble frame with Byzantine decorative designs of interlaced cycles. Based on those motifs, as well as on the byzantine nails found on the wood, the door is dated in the late 15th or 16th century.

- Περιγραφή: Η πόρτα που οδηγεί από τον εσωνάρθηκα στο Καθολικό, είναι η αρχαιότερη από τις πόρτες του ναού. Τα θυρόφυλλά της είναι κοσμημένα με βυζαντινά καρφιά και πλούσια διακοσμημένα. Χωρίζονται σε τετράγωνα φατνώματα, ακολουθώντας τη βυζαντινή παράδοση. Γύρω από την πόρτα, υπάρχει μαρμάρινο πλαίσιο με βυζαντινά διακοσμητικά μοτίβα με συμπλεκόμενους δακτυλίους. Με βάση τα μοτίβα αυτά, αλλά και τα διακοσμητικά καρφιά της βυζαντινής περιόδου που βρέθηκαν στο ξύλο, η πόρτα χρονολογείται στον ύστερο 15ο ή στον 16ο αιώνα.
