During World War II, crew members of the aircraft carrier Intrepid created a giant scoreboard that tallied the number of enemy airplanes and ships that Intrepid’s squadrons destroyed. Don Leonard kept his own version, using a mass-produced image of the ship and stickers manufactured by the Liberty Picture Company. The print documents how many airplanes and ships were destroyed by Intrepid’s crew.
