The ornate parterre gardens at Warter Priory, East Yorkshire, with box-edged flower beds and spirals of yew topiary. The large Victorian mansion at Warter Priory was then the home of Charles Wilson, 2nd Baron Nunburnholme, but was demolished in 1972 and used to back-fill a lake in the grounds. Real photograph postcard addressed to Mr H Buck, Cottingham.
Gift of Mr K Bradford, Nashdom
