The brigade served during the first three weeks of the north Italian Front in the area across from the Alfonsina village, north of the Ravenna city. From there the brigade went to mountainous area at the foot of the Apennine mountains on the bank of the Senio River. The objective was to block the Germans from taking hold of the southern area of the river. On 07/04/1945 the order was given to cross the river and to build a bridge for crossing the river. Since the forces advanced, the Germans retreated from the entire Front and the brigade joined in the chase after them. A few days later a ceasefire was declared.
