Woman's jacket of black felt, with applied bands of coloured silks, black velvet, silver lace and gimp, and embroidered in coloured silks, tinsel, spangles and glass beads. It has a square opening at the neck and wide cuffs, trimmed with a broad border of close repeating designs of interlacing stems, stripes and rosettes in colours and silver. The Breton word for this jacket is giletten.
