Jar with lid decorated with the image of a felino tied to a pole

This unique jar, of which there are few similar examples, depicts an animal foreign to the natural habitat of the Peruvian coast: a spotted feline, probably a jaguar, that perhaps was captured in the jungle as a symbol of prestige.
