A children’s Baji (pants) with long openings and covering apron on the back. This double layered Baji is made of starched ramie cloth. It has a braced waistband and gathered at waist for the ease of movement. There is a small circular red decorative wool patch placed on the waist as a symbol of protection from misfortune. On the hems blue ties are sewn to adjust the fit. It was worn for the boy's first birthday.
