The valuable work was purchased by Glauco Lombardi in 1919; it is the only painting left in the Museum of a core of relevant works from the Parisetti collection and which included masterpieces by Sebastiano Ricci, Lionello Spada, Ilario Spolverini, Andrea (or Giorgio) Schiavone, later sold by the collector.
